Etherealsphere

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one

When the brain converts ethereal energy into words and writing, we manifest into the material world what we are dreaming in our mind. ~Don Miguel Ruiz

Awakening

I just recently returned from Teotihuacan in Mexico. What an amazing and magical journey it was. I went to participate in Toltec Initiation Rites with two extraordinary teachers. It truly is an experience that has changed my life. The energy and magic that vibrates in Teotihuacan has awakened in me the truth of my being. It has shifted my perception of life. I compare my shift to the metamorphosis that happens to a caterpillar as it transforms into the butterfly. There was nothing I could do to prepare myself with the exception of showing up. To be present at that time and welcome the energy into my very core. As I arrived and placed my first step upon the soil in Teo, I felt a stirring. What my mind could not see was already known in my heart; the butterfly already existed within. Teotihuacan offered me the branch to safely weave my silk enclosure. Others who came on the journey also felt the stirring and joined me with their own metamorphosis. Some came to be a witness and provide even more security, love and encouragement.

The cocoon that I had been encased has now broken open. I thought I was spiritually enlightened before, but this new-found feeling is so much beyond what I have ever experienced. It makes me excited to think there may be even more than this. I know I am expansive and will continue to shift my vibration. As each step I take only introduces me to even more possibilities upon the horizon. I am giddy with anticipation. With wings still wet, I am perched upon the cusp of my recently broken cocoon. There is a slight breeze and I know that once I let go I will have no control of where the wind will take me. It is up to the universe now. I will spread my beautiful wings and fly, or flutter, just like the butterfly, allowing the current to assist me on my journey. Similar, and yet in opposite, to the Monarch, who leaves Mexico in great numbers, I shall make the return journey back. I can no longer deny my truth. I now know what moves inside my heart.
